For those who prefer the hotel zone of Cancun, we recommend the Cancun Palace or Sun Palace all-inclusive resorts. The beaches here are fantastic. A 50 cent bus ride will take you anywhere along the hotel zone, making them convenient to shopping, sightseeing, and nightlife. Jacuzzi suites are available at both hotels. You also have exchange privileges with any of the Palace Resorts located in the Cancun – Playa Del Carmen area (transfers not included). One complimentary tour is included with stays of 3 nights and two complimentary tours are included with stays of 5 nights or more. Non-motarized water sports are provided at the Sun Palace, but are complimentary for both resorts. The Sun Palace boasts 227 oceanview suites, 3 restaurants, snack bar, and 3 bars. Activities include kayaking, tennis, beach volleyball, and introductory scuba diving lessons. The Cancun Palace has 557 rooms and suites, 3 restaurants, 2 snack bars, 24 hour room service, 3 bars including a swim-up bar and piano bar. Activities include a 36-hold mini golf course, beach volleyball, water polo, and billiards. Theme parties and music under the stars are provided at both resorts.
